Capel Manor and Myddleton House Gardens - 27th June 2018

The sun was shining when we visited Myddleton House and Capel Manor Gardens at the end of June. Both gardens were spectacular and we were fortunate to have a very informative tour of Capel Manor by its former principal Stephen Dowbiggin, who explained the history of the garden and the concepts behind the planting in the individual themed gardens, including its royal connections. Our only regret was that we didn’t have more time to enjoy these wonderful places.
